Get ready for a celebration! For 45 years, Iowa Public Television has been YOUR network and we look forward to celebrating with you this year.
In 1969, the State of Iowa agreed to purchase Channel 11 and all KDPS-TV equipment from the Des Moines School Board. The call letters were changed to KDIN-TV and Iowa Public Television was born.
Over the past 45 years, IPTV has provided you with valuable information, special programs and memories from Iowa and around the nation and world.
We have many exciting things to come over the next 12 months and hope you will join us in celebrating 45 years as Iowa's only statewide network.
