Coverage of Iowa girls’ high school championships continues, as teams from across the state take to the field for the 2018 IGHSAU Iowa Farm Bureau Girls State Soccer Championships . Coverage of each class title game will take place at the James W. Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines. Each game will be broadcast on IPTV’s primary channel and streamed LIVE on Iptv.org , YouTube and Facebook . In order to broaden opportunities for minority and female high school students in Iowa, Iowa Public Television (IPTV) is offering a television production mentorship program for summer 2018. The unpaid mentorship program will give two students the opportunity to observe and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of media journalism including videography, lighting/set design, video editing, graphic design, web production and storytelling. The IPTV Virtual Summer Camp is an opportunity for parents and children ages 4-8 to explore PBS games, videos and mobile apps, particularly those that support critical math and literacy skills.
