IPTVs Broadcast Serving Rock Rapids Returns to Air

Iowa Public Television’s Rock Rapids translator has returned to air following the replacement of a broadcast antenna. Residents of the Rock Rapids viewing area experienced a temporary service outage January 17 while an existing antenna was removed and new equipment was installed. The IPTV crew worked diligently to limit the necessary outage as much as possible.

Iowa Public Television viewers in the Rock Rapids area will still find the over-the-air signal on channel 27 but may need to rescan their televisions to receive the channel. Viewers watching IPTV via a cable or satellite provider will not need to make any adjustments.
