Johnston, Iowa – Today Iowa Public Television announced the premiere of season 2 of IPTV KIDS Clubhouse, complete with ten 30-minute episodes focused on Iowa children. Dedicated to fun, adventure and learning, the weekly series premieres its second season on Friday, June 2.

New episodes premiere weekly Fridays at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Saturdays at 7 a.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m. on statewide IPTV. Season 2 will feature kids across Iowa playing, learning and discovering things about water, junk, Earth, communication, helpers, the human body, school, outside fun, money and the Iowa State Fair. Each IPTV KIDS Clubhouse episode will be available online at Iptv.org/Clubhouse and on YouTube.

The series engages children, partners with parents, enriches on-air children’s programming and supplies schools and libraries with educational resources. Each episode consists of segments in the Clubhouse featuring activities, guests and puppets. Host Dan Wardell is joined by co-hosts Abby Brown, and puppets DanBot and Caveman, as they visit communities across the state, making Iowa’s children the stars of the show.

“I have some overarching themes that I’ve always included in my story times and my messages: Go outside and play, use your imagination, read a good book and eat healthy food,” said Wardell. “These messages continue to be incorporated in all aspects of the second season.”

The IPTV KIDS Clubhouse is a multimedia learning experience for Iowa children ages 2 through 10. Coordinating educational activities and resources are available to parents and children at Iptv.org/Clubhouse.

Support for IPTV KIDS Clubhouse is provided by Blank Children’s Hospital, Casey’s General Stores, Noodles & Co., Max and Helen Guernsey Foundation and The Coons Foundation.
