IPTV’s broadcast serving Lansing area is moving from channel 39 to channel 31

Posted: April 25, 2018

Iowa Public Television has replaced the broadcast antenna serving the Lansing viewing area. The replacement process caused a temporary service outage on April 24, 2018, while the existing antenna was removed and new equipment was installed. The change also resulted in a channel change for viewers watching the over-the-air translator signal, from the previous channel 39 to the new channel 31.

Viewers watching IPTV’s over-the-air signal will need to rescan their televisions to receive the new channel. Viewers watching IPTV via a cable or satellite provider do not need to make any adjustments.
