IPTV’s Iowa Ingredient to preview upcoming seventh season during Festival 2018

Catch a sneak peek of Iowa Public Television’s Iowa Ingredient series on Thursday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 10 at 11 a.m. This hour-long special previews the upcoming seventh season, set to premiere in April.

Excitement for the new season begins to grow as viewers sneak a peek at Iowa Ingredient's fresh episodes in this preview. Host Charity Nebbe takes viewers on a fun-filled foodie adventure to festivals celebrating delicious flavors and to farms growing tasty ingredients, such as cucumbers grown by Blue Gate Farm in Chariton. Chefs from across the state, including Chef Julie Schoenherr of SoHo Kitchen & Bar in Sioux City, will also be in the studio kitchen to cook up clever new recipes. Viewers will also enjoy learning about fun and fresh Iowa food trucks like Farm to Fork food truck in Spirit Lake.  

Iowa Ingredient profiles the farms, restaurants and ingredients that make Iowa food uniquely Iowan. Each episode features a single Iowa ingredient and treats viewers to a spectacular trip from the farm to the table. This season, host Charity Nebbe explores cabbage, barley, cucumbers, peaches, onions, green beans, farmers’ markets, delicious destinations and happy hours.
