IPTV to Hold Iowa Press Debate: U.S. Senate Democratic Primary

Live statewide broadcast Thursday, May 26, 7-8 p.m.

Iowa Public Television (IPTV) will hold an Iowa Press debate for the U.S. Senate Democratic Primary on Thursday, May 26 at the Iowa Public Television studios in Johnston, Iowa. The hour-long debate will begin at 7 p.m. in front of a live audience in the Maytag Auditorium. The program will air live on statewide IPTV and be streamed online at Iptv.org.  

Dean Borg, longtime host of Iowa Press, will moderate the debate alongside Iowa political reporters. Candidates will answer questions and discuss their platforms, concerns and future plans for the state of Iowa.

The Iowa Press Debate: U.S. Senate Democratic Primary will be open to the public with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Spectators should plan to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. to be seated prior to the live televised debate.
