IPTV wins multiple Iowa Broadcast News Association Awards

The Iowa Broadcast News Association (IBNA) recently awarded Iowa Public Television with multiple awards.

IPTV’s Market to Market staff took first and second place in the Farm and Agribusiness category. Josh Buettner was recognized with the top award for his feature Tributaries on Trial Water Woes and Colleen Brandford Krantz took second place for her feature U.S. Farmers Enlist Old Techniques to Round Up Super Weeds.

John Torpy was recognized for his Market to Market feature Is Booming Oil Industry Causing Earthquakes in Oklahoma? He won third place in the General Reporting category.

IBNA also awarded IPTV’s Paul Yeager first place for Sports Play-by-Play for the 2015 IGHSAU Girls State Softball Championship 2A.

IPTV recognizes videographers Steve Carns, Darrin Clouse, Rick Fuller, Kevin Clark and Laurent Torno III for their work on these award winning projects.

IBNA is a nonprofit corporation of radio-TV news directors, reporters, producers, public relations professionals and others from Iowa and its adjacent states, working together to improve electronic media news for stations and the public. IBNA recognizes outstanding work done by its members at its annual convention.
