The Mason City area (KYIN Channel 24), including translators in Decorah and Lansing, is experiencing temporary and intermittent service outages for tower work.

Repair work will take place predominantly during daytime hours. Whenever possible, we will resume a low power broadcast transmission during prime time. Crews are working diligently to restore full broadcast service as soon as possible.

The majority of viewers with cable or satellite service will not be impacted by this service disruption.

PBS KIDS programming, usually found on IPTV’s primary channel and IPTV KIDS.2, is available to live stream, with many shows on-demand, at Iptv.org/iptv-kids and through the PBS KIDS Video App on mobile devices and streaming services, including iOS, Android, Amazon, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast and the PBS KIDS Plug & Play.

IPTV’s local programs including Market to MarketIowa Ingredient and more are available to watch on demand at Iptv.org/watch. Local shows and many popular PBS series including PBS NewsHourAntiques Roadshow, Nature and NOVA are available on demand through the PBS Video App.

Viewers may try recieving Iowa Public Television’s signal from the transmitter (KRIN Channel 32) serving parts of eastern Iowa including Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, which has returned to broadcast
