Iowa Public Television is proud to be the home for Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Championships. The 2016 IGHSAU Iowa Farm Bureau Girls State Soccer Championships at the James W. Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines will be broadcast LIVE on statewide Iowa Public Television. Teams from across the state will compete for their respective class titles. On Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m., viewers across the state can enjoy the premiere of season 6 of Iowa Outdoors , an Iowa Public Television series focusing on outdoor recreation, environmental issues, conservation initiatives and Iowa’s outdoor natural resources. Iowa Public Television is premiering its full-fledged, locally produced children’s program complete with ten 30-minute episodes focused on Iowa children. The Iowa Broadcast News Association (IBNA) recently awarded Iowa Public Television with multiple awards. IPTV’s Market to Market staff took first and second place in the Farm and Agribusiness category.
