Join Dan Kaercher, recently retired Editor-in-Chief of Midwest Living Magazine, as he travels through 12 states across the Midwest on a sentimental journey to experience some of the enchantment Middle America has to offer. Dan crosses ten thousand miles and explores everything from national monuments to great food to some of the undiscovered gems of the Midwest. The Best of the Midwest will remind viewers why the heartland of the United States is such a great place to call home.
There is a one-hour version of this program and a series of eight half-hour programs.
** Please note: Dan Kaercher personally visited all of the parks, preserves and recreation areas
while videotaping these programs in 2004, but circumstances can change. We encourage you to call ahead
if you are planning a visit of your own.
