Iowa Public Television Connects with Educators

Iowa Public Television continues to make stops around the state of Iowa, connecting with educators along the way. IPTV has enlightened educators as they learn about free resources that are captivating, current, and aligned to rigorous standards. In the last few weeks, IPTV has attended and presented at conferences such as the Iowa Technology and Education Connection, Green Hills AEA 21st Century Learners’ Conference, STEM Active Learning Conference, Social Studies Conference, Midwest Environmental Education Conference, and STEM Teacher Educators Conference. IPTV also provides pre-service teachers with the tools and resources they need to be successful in their classrooms as they student teach, and has done so recently at Upper Iowa University, Graceland University and Grandview University.

IPTV has been assisting educators from across the state through free, professional development sessions to access a large variety of 21st century resources that cover all content and grade levels. IPTV’s staff looks forward to connecting with you at an upcoming event and assisting with your professional development needs in the near future. To schedule a free session, contact Angela Hiatt at
