Adult Learning Spotlight: Iowa Valley Community College District

Iowa Valley Community College District’s Adult Education and Literacy program is dedicated to enriching the lives of people who are living in our communities.  We believe, as leaders and educators, it is our job to prepare adult students to analyze situations and communicate effectively so they are able to successfully live in our global society.

Iowa Valley Community College District has Adult Education and Literacy programs located throughout our region.  We offer High School Equivalency Diploma instruction and final testing, English as a Second Language classes, and job enhancement and training programs for a variety of careers.  Our instructors understand the importance of gaining the skills necessary to earn a self-sustaining wage.   Class hours may vary depending on the site, but classes are located in the Marshalltown, Grinnell, Tama, and Iowa Falls communities.

Our Adult Education and Literacy Instructors work directly with students to provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of every student and to make sure our students achieve the very best education or job placement.  So, if you are looking to return to college and need to brush up on your math or writing skills, if you need to get your high school equivalency diploma, or if you want to learn the English language, give IVCCD a call; we are here to help you achieve your goals!

Education is the key to get from where you are to where you want to be!  If you have questions or would like to know more about the services and programs offered at IVCCD please call 641-754-1348 or visit our website at:
