IPTV Continues to Provide Educators with Mandatory Reporter Training Free of Charge

Iowa Public Television is excited to offer the Mandatory Reporter Training for Child & Dependent Adult Abuse online for school administrators, teachers, school support staff, and others who interact with students in Iowa. This training is customized specifically for those who work in schools. IPTV is offering this service free of charge.

Iowa Law requires individuals applying for a license, renewing a license, or obtaining an  authorization certificate issued by the Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE) to provide proof of completion of an approved ‘Mandatory Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Reporter Training’ program.

Certificates will be emailed to the email address you provide in the final survey. Upon completion, participants will receive their certificates within 7-10 business days.

Following the completion of this 3-hour, approved training (#2032) and evaluation (Survey Monkey), registrants will receive a certificate of training completion via email that will be good for 5 years from the date of the training.

The free training and completion certificate offered by Iowa Public Television meets the requirement of the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners for licensure.
