PBS NewsHour Extra -- A Current Events Goldmine

This topical, up-to-the-minute current events resource is a 'must use' for social studies, science, language arts, economics, arts and media teachers. PBS NewsHour Extra was created especially for teachers and students in order to present a balanced view of current events and to make them understandable and relevant. Resources abound to help integrate news into the curriculum by way of lesson plans, teachers' guides, video clips, a student feedback center and much more.
