Invitation to World Literature
(Grades 9-12) This series brings together an eclectic mix of writers, literary scholars, artists, and performers to explore timeless tales (e.g. The Odyssey, The Epic of Gilgamesh, Things Fall Apart) from a variety of eras and cultures.
PBS Kids Island
(Grades PreK-3) Students create an interactive playground with PBS Kids Island. The site offers reading games and activities for children, and resources and literacy activities for parents and teachers.
(Grades 9-12) Expose students to a broad spectrum of poetic voices and build up an appreciation for poetry by listening to and watching artists "perform" poems from a variety of famous poets including W.B Yeats, Emily Dickinson, and Billy Collins.
