Are all snowflakes truly unique? What are the physical forces that drive snowflakes to come in so many shapes and sizes? In this lesson brought to you by PBS LearningMediaTM, students build an apparatus that creates conditions similar to a winter cloud and produce their own snow crystals indoors. By watching the snow crystals grow, they learn about the molecular forces that shape ice crystals, and gain a deeper understanding of the states of matter.  Mobile Learning Program

Once again PBS KIDS® and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) have joined forces with
you and other outreach partners across the country to offer apps to children in low-income communities. The goal is to give preschool and early elementary school children access to PBS KIDS apps for free via community organizations like yours. Select IPTV staff have returned to Johnston from Atlanta, GA after attending the 2013 NETA Conference.  NETA is the National Educational Telecommunications Association that allows staff members to network with others and learn about current practices and resources.
