From Broadcast to the Web On-line Segmentation and Correlation of Educational VideoThis presentation will discuss the process that Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) uses to correlate educational video related to State of Georgia Teaching Standards. GPB is transitioning from a manual system of segmentation/correlation of video content that currently involves groups of teachers reviewing multiple VHS tapes to an automated, online process. At the completion of the transition, teachers will have the ability to rough cut streaming video stored in GPB's Digital Library Portal and match up the segments with their respective, required statewide standards from any computer with Internet access. |
