Technologies Supporting the Use of Professional Optical Disc for Advanced Workflows in Broadcast ENGRecent commercialization of Professional Optical products for broadcast ENG and production applications have resulted in the introduction of novel workflows for optimized processing of SD signals employing latest A/V and IT technologies. This talk will provide technical information on the use of Blue-laser optical storage, MXF file processing/editing and IT interfaces that support the current family of SD products. In addition, technology developments that will support the upcoming deployment of HD products based on Professional Disc, will also be presented. |
