The Age of Clones

Researchers in Japan believe they've found a link between cloning and aging. The study compared cloned mice and conventionally reproduced mice. The cloned mice died earlier than their counterparts. The finding raised concerns that a cellular structure related to aging may be abnormal in clones. The size of the Japanese study was very small, but will prompt other research into the "age" of clones.
