Transcript: Biotech's Impact

I think biotechnology has impacted the grocery and the food industry in a positive manner. I mean, there have been many improvements made in the foods. And there are going to be many more to come as [biotechnology] develops even further, especially with nutritional value and creating foods that...will be enhanced to provide more nutritional value and better health benefits to the consumer. I think the consumer acceptance is very good right now of [genetically engineered] foods. There are so many foods right now that are biotechnology produced. The consumer is using them and probably doesn't even realize it because there's no major difference nutritionally. It doesn't make any difference.
