What does water quality have to do with politics? Find out from Senator Bolkcom.

TRANSCRIPT:

There are interests particularly in the industry, the livestock interests the chemical fertilizer interests, that have an interest to kind of keep things the way they are. Iowa is number one in the production of hogs. We're number one in the production of poultry. We have a lot of animal agriculture going on, and with that a lot of financial interests that make contributions to political officials elected officials and get their attention.
