What's the future for water treatment? L.D. McMullen examines some cutting edge technology.

TRANSCRIPT:

Then you can really let your mind go wild and say, "Okay, now I just have pure water. Now what do I do with this pure water? Well, I better add a little calcium because calcium is really good." So we can add just the right amount of calcium that would be beneficial to everybody. Well maybe there is something that's really good for fighting cholesterol. Well we can add a little bit to control cholesterol. We know fluoride is good for tooth decay. Well let's add a little bit of fluoride. What you end up with is a manufactured water product. Rather than relying upon what is coming down the river you could custom make that water for just the right consumers.
