Transcript for Nutrient Management

Here at the DNR, I'm called a nutrient management specialist. I'm going to be working on a state nutrient strategy where we're going to have to look across the state and figure out where we're getting all of our nutrients in our water and trying [to figure out] if it was agriculture, if it was urban, and quantify those amounts. And then trying to figure out what we're going to do to remedy that -- to keep those nutrients from getting into the water; what we can do to treat them; and then, how we can get everyone in the state together to work on this.
