About this course: This program will provide up to date information for all school food service personnel. This course is approved by the School Nutrition Association and meets the Sanitation and Safety components in the new Level I Certification requirements with SNA (School Nutrition Association).
This newly revised 10-hour course uses the curriculum Serving It Safe and is designed specifically for school food service personnel who will learn about methods of safe food handling, sanitation, and safety in all areas. For successful completion and certificate, 100% attendance is required at all 3 evenings of class. Course Date/Times: Course dates are October 27, November 3, and November 10. Course times are 5:00-8:30 PM each evening. Registering for the first date will register you for all 3 dates.
Audience: K-12 school food service and support services food personnel.

Fee: Food Safety and Sanitation - $90.00 Please check with your school district to see if they will cover the class costs or if you will need to pay them yourself. If you are paying personally, an Iowa Community College representative will contact you regarding payment. Payment covers CEU's, materials and presenter fees.
