Do you have students who are interested in being a graphic artist or working in television?

Join this session to learn all about being a graphic artist for a television network. The presenting professional works for Iowa Public Television and not only does he have to know how to complete print related projects, he also has to know how to do graphics for television.

His position requires that he stays abreast of current software applications for both print and television since all of his work is done electronically. He will bring examples of his work to the session and talk to your students about the skills and knowledge needed to be successful as a graphic artist in today’s digital environment.

Job descriptions, video clips and links to additional resources can be accessed through this Web site. The STC database features occupations in health, engineering, business, agriscience, human services and the arts. Career searches can be done by keyword, occupation, subject or Career Pathway.
