Summer Stories & More ICN sessions are correlated with the national summer reading program. The theme for 2012 is Dream Big READ!. Sessions consist of a story read aloud, a professional guest presenter, and an activity. Each week is a new topic and several opportunities to participate.

Night Shivers

The story for today is Diary of a Worm. Then, an educator from the Blank Park Zoo joins us this week to learn more about some of the creepy creatures that give us shivers in the night. Sometimes scary, creepy creatures show up in our dreams. But those creatures are not always as frightening as we may think. Join a zoo educator to better understand these animals that sometimes get a bad reputation. Children will uncover myths, discover fascinating facts, and learn to love these creepy creatures!

Confirmed registrants receive the books Gross out! and Animals do disgusting things and Goosebumps, Don't Go To Sleep!.
