Arthur Goes to Camp

Summer is near and students will enjoy hearing the story Arthur Goes to Camp by Marc Brown since they may share some of Arthur's feelings about staying at a camp. Join an interactive discussion of story elements, writing activities and great publishing ideas for Arthur stories. Students will also practice writing postcards that they will finish in the classroom. Get ready to register for fun at camp now...see you in the ICN cabin! Teachers registering for this event agree to provide each student with the following materials: - a pencil
- 1 sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 plain paper
Following the ICN session, registrants receive a complimentary book pack of Writing Activities Just for Young Learners and Get Out! Outdoor Activities or alternate titles by mail. Teachers may wish to download and print a copy of the Character Book Directions from the Classroom Resources prepared and compiled by IPTV K-12 Connections staff.
