Arthur's Valentine

Join an interactive session that is all about friendship. We will be reading Arthur's Valentine, by Marc Brown, sharing Arthur trivia, discussing writing and publishing ideas, and doing some fun Valentine's Day activities.

To contribute to the party atmosphere, print off an Arthur and friends mask for students to decorate and wear to the ICN session.

Following this ICN session, confirmed registrants receive the complimentary book Awesome Art Activities and Unusual Paper Planes or alternate titles.

Teachers registering for this event agree to provide each student with the following materials:

  • a pencil
  • 10 candy conversation hearts of assorted colors
  • 1 sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 plain paper
  • 1 copy each of the valentine sheet and compare and contrast Arthur sheet

Download and print a copy the Valentine and Compare and Contrast sheets for each student from the 'Arthur's Valentine' section of Classroom Resources prepared and compiled by IPTV K-12 Connections staff. DO NOT complete the sheets, as they are completed during the ICN session.
