Students discuss the amazing owls of Iowa with a naturalist. This special group of raptors is discussed in detail including, unique adaptations, habitats and current status in our state. Students learn how to perform the calls of the three most common owls in Iowa. Don't miss this highly visual and interactive session with a live owl. Questions about owls are posed to the students. This interactive program also allows time for student questions, so come prepared. Following the ICN session, registrants receive the complimentary books All about Owls and Animal Predators: Owls or alternate titles.
