To Be a Seed

Experience the awakening of life as students learn about seeds. The parts of a seed will be explored by dissecting a seed during the session. Students will learn what is needed to get a seed to grow and the basic parts of a plant. A seed story will be read and many types of Iowa seeds will be explored. - One peanut in the shell to be 'dissected' during the session. If student(s) are allergic to peanuts, sunflower seeds may be substituted.
Important Dates: April 22 is Earth Day! Following the ICN session, registrants receive the complimentary books Grow Flower Grow! and From Seed to Plant or alternate titles.
