Reading with a Career Professional Series:

K-12 Connections is once again offering a series of career-related ICN events called Reading with ... for students grades K-3. The series will include career professionals reading an age appropriate book about their career, sharing a short feature career videotape and answering student questions.

About This Event:

Join an Urbandale firefighter as he shares his career with students using a book, video, and showing some of the tools used on the job. He is able to address fire prevention, safety issues and tips with students during the session. There will be time for questions, so teachers and students are asked to come to the session prepared.

Following this ICN session, confirmed registrants receive the complimentary book Firebears The Rescue Team or alternate title.
