Iowa Core Network

The Iowa Core Network consists of representatives from each area education agencies. This group is tasked with supporting schools and districts in the implementation of the Iowa Core. The Network meets monthly. The January 2013 meeting will focus on the use of Standards Insight, an online database used by teachers to “unpack” the standards, and on assisting members in developing a deeper understanding and ability to recognize the various levels of cognitive complexity when reviewing tasks and instruction.

Sessions are provided at no cost by Iowa Public Television in collaboration with the Iowa Communications Network to PK-12 students and the adults working with or on behalf of PK-12 students in Iowa. If you are not employed by a school district or an AEA please register at library sites only.
