We will also discuss the pros and cons of fossil fuels as well as wind energy and solar. We’ll talk about how a coal fired plant works. Included in the discussion will be an overview of the pollution that is created in producing and using our energy resources.

We’d like your students to come away with a good understanding of how our energy use has an impact on our world. To that end, we will work together to come up with a list of things we all can do to reduce energy use and make good choices
