Summer Fun: Learning about Energy

Sign up today for this free and fun ICN session that can be offered to kids who visit your library this summer! These sessions offer a great learning opportunity for your young community members.

Join AmeriCorps staff for an engaging presentation about the most common types of energy we use. The presentation will cover nonrenewable and renewable sources of energy. And, we will help your audience think about how to save energy everyday!

Library staff may want to pull books from their stacks that represent this topic and encourage check out for reading! Target age is grades 2-5.

Sessions are provided at no cost by Iowa Public Television in collaboration with the Iowa Communications Network to PK-12 students and the adults working with or on behalf of PK-12 students in Iowa.
