Summer Fun: Reading with a Police Officer

Sign up today for this free and fun ICN session that can be offered to kids who visit your library this summer! These sessions offer a great learning opportunity for your young community members.

Join this session to hear a reading with a sergeant from the Des Moines Police Department. He will also share with the audience a little bit about being a police officer. There will be time for questions and answers too!

Library staff may want to pull books from their stacks that represent this topic and encourage check out for reading!


Sessions are provided at no cost by Iowa Public Television in collaboration with the Iowa Communications Network to PK-12 students and the adults working with or on behalf of PK-12 students in Iowa.
