PLEASE READ THE EVENT DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY. PRINT THE DESCRIPTION, AND RETAIN IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. They're creepy and they're crawly, but they're awesome! Students learn what it takes to be part of the largest group of animals in the world. Join naturalists from the Warren County Conservation Board to explore the weird world of insects. Learn about the insects native to Iowa and the benefits of specific insects. Students make antennae from pipe cleaners and aluminum foil (see materials list in 'Suggested Prerequisites'). This program also allows time for student questions, so come prepared. Following the ICN session, registrants receive the complimentary book, Bugs, Bugs, Bugs! or alternate title.
