Secondary Transition Coaches: Session 4
Subject Area:
    Professional Development

About this session:

Topic:

Services for Youth Ages 18-21

Description:

Representatives of various programs for students ages 18-21 will describe their services. Included in the discussion will be an update on AEA efforts to increase administrative consistency statewide.

About this series:

These ICN sessions are for individuals who work to increase the capacity of secondary schools to prepare youth with disabilities for a successful transition from high school to postsecondary living, learning and working. The primary audience consists of individuals who are involved in implementation of the State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) within their AEA or district.

All efforts will be made to keep topics on the dates listed. Changes may be made based on presenter availability or the emergence of unplanned critical issues. This is especially true of the last three sessions which are dependent upon completion of work. For example, if work is completed as anticipated the session Factors Influencing Postschool Success in Iowa with Mary Wagner and Lynn Newman presenting will be substituted for one of the last three sessions.
