Zoo Friends: Wild and Rare Animals

PLEASE READ THE EVENT DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY. PRINT THE DESCRIPTION, AND RETAIN IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. What is the difference between endangered, extinct and threatened? Why do animals become endangered? Join educators and animals from the Blank Park Zoo and learn why every creature is valuable to the earth's ecosystem. We'll hear success stories of endangered animals, meet some of the Zoo's animal ambassadors, and discover how people can make a difference! This program also allows time for student questions, so come prepared. Registering teachers agree to provide the following materials for use in the ICN room: Following the ICN session, registrants receive the complimentary books, Outside Inside Sharks, and Outside Inside Alligators or alternate titles by mail. Blank Park Zoo ICN events include: Stellaluna Wild and Rare Kids Talk with a Zoo Educator Marvelous Mammals Zoo Detectives Exotic Habitats Chickens Aren't the Only Ones Creepy Crawlies
