Iowa Ingredient Recipes: Rhubarb Margarita


Matt Steigerwald from the Lincoln Cafe in Mount Vernon, shares his recipe for Rhubarb Margarita.


Iowa Ingredient Recipes: Rhubarb Margarita

Ingredients:

  •  2 cups rhubarb
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  •  3/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • Ice

 Cook rhubarb, water & sugar for 5 minutes 'til soft. Puree in blender and strain. Chill. Add lime juice amd tequila. Shake with ice. Then pour over ice. Garnish with rhubarb swizzle stick.
