Recipe: Cran-Raspberry Pie


A delicious pie that's perfect for the holidays. 


Recipe: Cran-Raspberry Pie

Filling

1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped fresh cranberries

3 cups partially thawed red raspberriers

1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

1/4 cup flour, plus flour for rolling

1 1/4 cups sugar

1/2 tsp. margarine

 

Use favorite pastry recipe

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Roll out the bottom crust to fill a 9 inch pie pan, generously using flour so dough will not stick to counter. Line pie dish with one pie crust. Combine cranberries, raspberries, almond flavoring,1 cup sugar, and flour in a large mixing bowl. Pour cran-raspberry mixutre onto pie crust and dot with maragine. Roll out a 9 inch pie lid.  Crimp and flute edges to pie crust. Sprinkle remaining sugar on top of pie. Bake for 60 minutes. Let cool before eating.
