Wetlands for Flood Control (Full Program) (Episode 215)

The Iowa Journal looks at conservation efforts as a means for helping with flood control. Guests on the program are Marty Adkins, USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Resources and Jack Riessen, Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Kay Henderson, News Director of Radio Iowa talks with host Paul Yeager about the controversy over salaries for the Rebuild Iowa Office staff and some of the RIO office expenditures. Discussion also focused on the state budget and how long the economy may be in a downturn. (27:47)
