Childhood obesity is the topic on this episode of The Iowa Journal. We travel to Grundy Center to experience the school's PE4Life program and the Global Forum For Physical Education. Discussing education's role in public health are: Jim Hallihan of Live Healthy Iowa, Tom Newton of Iowa Department of Public Health and Brian Tate, Dean of Students at Des Moines' North High School. Hallihan and Tate both serve on the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness & Nutrition. Also on this show, a comment or two from His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, from his recent appearance at the University of Iowa. (28:46)
