This program examines how some rural communities are using state gaming revenues to establish county community foundations to foster improvements to their way of life. We profile the work by residents in Greene County to grow a permanent endowment fund and at the same time offer matching grants to community projects.
Studio guests are Rand Fisher, president of the Iowa Area Development Group and Kathy Evert, president of the Iowa Lakes Corridor in Spencer.
