This episode of Iowa Outdoors is more about the journey than the destination starting with the fall beauty found along Iowa's Loess Hills Scenic Byway. Thermal flight might have it's ups and downs but for hot air balloonists in Indianola it is one of the best ways to travel. The Trout Run Bike Trail in Decorah is giving cyclists a a chance to experience the beauty found in N.E. Iowa from the seat of their bikes. A Fairfield photographer uses his craft to inspire other to explore the wonders of nature. Out on the trail a cowboy often found that a bowl of cooked chili hit the spot. Chef Jon Benedict shares a recipe for a bowl of chili cooked over an open campfire using bison meat.
