Contour Stripcropping

Time Frame: 1950

Contour farming involves planting rows to match the contours of the land. Strip cropping means planting more than one crop in long alternating rows side-by-side. Contour farming prevents soil erosion. Strip cropping prevents soil nutrient depletion.
