Gov. Terry Branstad says he's leaving casino decisions up to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and that any changes to gambling laws and regulations are for the legislature to decide. He does say he likes Cedar Rapids' designation for a proposed casino to be smoke-free.

Gov. Terry Branstad says he has reviewed the cannabis oil bill passed by the legislature, and he will sign it into law. He says he thinks it will help Iowans with epilepsy, and the bill is written in a limited way that should help prevent abuses and problems.
