Rep. Tom Latham (R-Clive) says he has never endorsed a candidate in a primary election, and he doesn't expect to endorse anyone in the 2014 Republican primary for the 3rd District Congressional seat he now holds. He says several Iowans have contacted him with interest in the seat. Latham says the ideal candidate will be someone who can listen to constituents and translate that into action in Washington.
