Iowa House Speaker Rep. Kraig Paulsen and Iowa Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mike Gronstal both say the Iowa Communications Network (ICN) was a good idea when the state built it a couple decades ago, but now it's a good idea to re-evaluate the network and see how it fits into today's technology. They say it could be a vehicle for expanding broadband access across the state, and it could lead to other new opportunities.
