A special Flickr group (there's no 'e' in Flickr) is tied to IPTV's Iowa Places of Worship documentary. Please help by joining this photo-posting Web site. It is FREE, as long as you do not go over Flickr's monthly limit. Flickr is a part of Yahoo.

There are innumerable churches, temples, and other places of worship in Iowa, but we know that the most interesting one to you is the place where you have spent time building memories. Please share your special place with everyone. We've had visitors from around the world.

FAQs:

1. Does it cost me anything to do this?
Flickr is a free Web site. You can join in a few minutes and participate at no cost. (Keep your photos small in size, because there is a limit to how much you can post for free.)

2. How do I post a photo?
Once you join Flickr, you can take any digital photo from your computer or Web page and post it by using Flickr's upload program. You can even email photos to Flickr from your camera phone if you want!

3. I shoot film – how do I post?
Most film processing places can make a photo CD when you get your photos pictures developed. You can post to Flickr from this photo CD. Or, if you have a scanner, you can scan a photo and upload that file to Flickr.

4. How do I comment without a photo?
You can add comments, tags, and notes to any photo in our Flickr group. If there are no photos of the place you'd like to discuss, take your own photo and post it on Flickr. Maybe someone in the discussion group lives close to the place you're thinking of and will go shoot and post a photo for you.

5. What kind of pictures are we looking for?
Yours. Well, more accurately, your photos of Iowa's churches, temples, and other spiritual places. The more people who post, the more complete our collection will become. Of course, please limit your postings to locations in Iowa. You can even tie them to the Yahoo map, if you like!

6. Will I keep the photo rights if I post to this group?
IPTV respects the photographer's copyright. If you post a photo we'd like to use, we'll contact you for permission. If you hold the copyright, that won't change. You continue to hold that copyright.
